An intermittent and eclectic view of what happens at the Huntingdonshire Music School in Cambridgeshire (UK).
Where folks young and old come to learn music and play with others. No age barriers. No geographic barriers. Just fun.
From the Producer
The legend that is HUMS Aloud.
To spell it out, then 'HUMS' stands for Huntingdonshire Music School (www.humsa.org.uk). Mostly it stands for musical fun. The school is located on the fringes of eastern england in what was Huntingdonshire but some administrator thought that bigger was better and so we got hoovered up into Cambridgeshire.
Â
Ah, whatever. We're a mixed bunch some 400 strong who get together on saturdays to learn music and play with others (steady
).
Â
As we journey into the unknown territories of technology we may stumble. What you see and hear might be a little raw and unpolished, even unpredictable. Heck, if we don't know where this is heading how can you?
Â
All we can promise is providing occasional glimpses of what makes the school so good, so sociaable and so much fun. Germany and France last year - this year Austria. Beware!Â
